Electrical Installation Condition Report
The majority of home owners do not regularly have their electrical installations inspected for safety as there is no legal requirement to do so. As a landlord you are responsible for ensuring that the electrical installation is safe to use, the best way to do this is by regular inspection and testing by an NICEIC approved electrician.
Our electrical installation condition reports satisfy the requirements of a landlord’s insurance policy and ensure your tenant is not at risk. Testing is carried out using Megger electrical testing equipment and will check the integrity of the cable within the property, identify any deterioration or defects and confirm the effectiveness of the earthing system and correct operation of circuit breakers and RCD’s.
Our electricians will visually inspect the wiring, fuse boards, consumer units and an agreed proportion of accessory internals for any defect, signs of heat damage or other deterioration.
The final report includes a schedule of items inspected, a comprehensive record of the electrical circuits within the installation and the measured test results listed against them.
